DB Deon Bush, Miami – 6’1 205 lbs

Another versatile safety with great athleticism. Bush is physical in both run and pass support. Easily one of the hardest hitters in the country and will disengage the ball every so often as his nine career forced fumbles are an indication. Some will question his durability as well has his play in 2013 and 2014. Part of his slow incline was due to his father being very ill which took Bush off the field mentally as well as a lingering hernia injury. Both issues overlapped pretty much the entire 2013 season.

Bush has the talent to play free and strong, but if he were to play strong, the increased bulk must occur as his 205 lbs may not hold up during an entire season. If I had to lean to a particular position, it probably would be strong based on his aggressiveness in the run and the passing game. Bush will bring that attitude on defense as well. One thing about Bush is he never doubted himself and always maintained confidence in himself.
