The reality of having one Clemson defensive end on the left and another Clemson defensive end on the right side of the Atlanta Falcons’ defense is looking more and more true as the weeks go by. Shaq Lawson isn’t anywhere near the same type of player or pass rusher that Vic Beasley is, but is just as good, if not better.

While Beasley is strictly a pass rusher, Lawson is good at both rushing the quarterback and stopping the run. His 6-3, 270-pound frame is the reason behind that. He is great at setting the edge and holds contain very well. Lawson has tremendous upper body strength and would be a great addition to the Falcons’ defensive line.

Next: Updated Atlanta Falcons' mock draft

Some experts have already mocked Lawson to the Falcons at pick 17 and that’s why I have him as the player most likely to get drafted by the Falcons at this point. Everything seems to be in line for Atlanta to take him if he is still available and that would be a great move.
