Travis Benjamin is the other wideout that the Atlanta Falcons have been linked too and is leaps and bounds the better receiver between him and Sanu. While Sanu isn’t bad, Benjamin possesses game changing abilities and could easily have a 1,000-yard season in Atlanta.

Benjamin is four inches shorter than Sanu and is 35 pounds lighter, but his speed is what makes him such a threat. Benjamin had a blazing 40-yard dash time of 4.36 and can take the top off of a defense if you’re not careful. While Sanu has the big body that is so appealing, Benjamin has the speed and long-ball abilities that are oh so appealing.

Not only can Benjamin play the receiver position at a high level, but he can also do some damage in the return game. Benjamin did not return a kickoff in 2015, but he returned 28 punts for 324 yards and scored a 78-yard touchdown. While it’s never ideal to have one of your starters returning a high volume of punts, he is more than capable and is very dangerous with the ball in his hands.

If I had to guess, the Falcons will likely go after Benjamin as hard as they possibly can with Sanu being their second choice. Benjamin caught 68 passes for 966 yards and caught five touchdown passes from the dynamic duo of Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel. Imagine what he could do with Matt Ryan as his quarterback.
