G Alex Boone

Everyone knows that the offensive line is one of the many concerns that the Atlanta Falcons carry into the off-season, and it is one that must be dealt with very aggressively if this team chooses to take the next step. With the tackles in place with Jake Matthews and Ryan Schraeder, these tackles hope to get a lot more help on the inside of the offensive line, and, it doesn’t take a hard look to realize that Alex Boone would be a great signing for the Falcons free agent class.

Boone in only 28 years old and made a name for himself for the San Francisco 49ers the past few seasons with a grittiness and nastiness that led the way for the last days of Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde.

The Falcons have strong bookends, but it doesn’t matter how strong the ends are if there are liabilities on the inside of the offensive line. The Falcons are in a perfect situation to bring in an answer to a big question mark quickly in Alex Boone. With his playing-style and ability, Boone will quickly take this team to the next level on the offensive line.

Boone is the perfect guard for the Atlanta Falcons. He’s still young enough to be signed to a 3 to 4 year deal and help solve the offensive line concerns.
