Alex Mack is the best available center in this year’s free agency class and for that reason, he is being highly pursued by the Atlanta Falcons. Arguably the Falcons’ weakest position in 2015 was their center position so fixing that is at the top of their list.

It’s a pretty safe bet that Mack will no re-sign with the Cleveland Browns. He opted out of his contract, a contract in which he was set to make $8 million next season and is ready to make his way to bigger and better things. Mack is a three-time pro bowler and would help anchor down the middle of the Falcons’ o-line for the next few years.

Mack is 30 so he isn’t necessarily going to be a long-term solution, but he is more than capable of playing for the next four years and should get a fairy substantial contract from a new team. While it would be very nice to sign Mack, he isn’t going to be cheap. But if you’re looking to find arguably the best center in the NFL, look no further than Mack.
