4) Sean Renfree, QB

When news broke that the Falcons were signing Matt Schaub during the offseason, everyone figured that the Sean Renfree project might be over. And after seeing him come in as the No. 4 quarterback last week against the Redskins, that might actually be true.

Quarterback order in preseason games doesn’t always mean that it’s the actual depth chart order, but it’s usually a tale-tale sign. And after watching both Schaub and Matt Simms play well in front of him, Renfree’s case to remain on the team isn’t looking so good.

Despite all of that, Renfree is still a guy that you should keep a close eye on against the Dolphins. It will be interesting to see if he plays before Simms, or if Simms plays before him for the second week in a row. And it will also be interesting to see how he plays. Renfree went 5 of 9 in week 1 and didn’t complete a pass in week 2.
