Atlanta Falcons: When does the 2017 training camp start?

2017 Training camp is just around the corner, but when will the Atlanta Falcons kick theirs off? Get the full schedule and all the information you need here

Football is almost back Atlanta Falcons fans. After what feels like an eternity, the offseason is finally winding down and training camps are just around the corner. But when exactly does the team kick off their camp, and what days will be open to the public? We have those answers for you.

July 26 is the first day of camp, which is when the players will report. Open practices will be every day from July 27 through August 4. The gates will open at 8:30 am, just one hour before practices begin. All the information you need to go and see the team in action can be found on their official team website.

August 6 will be “Military Day” and will see gates open at 8:15, but practice won’t start until 9:45. Practices from then on are not open to the public.

The first Preseason game for the Falcons will be on August 10, when they head to Miami to play the Dolphins. August 14 will be the final day of practices during the training camp period.

August 20 they play the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road before coming home to face the Arizona Cardinals on the 26th and finally the Jacksonville Jaguars on the 31st.

The first regular season game for the Falcons is on September 10, when they travel north to play the Chicago Bears.
