Ruled Out:

Devonta Freeman — Running back
Austin Pasztor — Offensive tackle
Damontae Kazee — Free Safety/Cornerback
Martin Ifedi — Defensive end
Blidi Wreh-Wilson — Cornerback

Freeman was recently signed to a new contract which made him the highest paid running back in terms of average salary. He played in Week 1 of the preseason, but has been in the concussion protocol since. Pasztor was recently signed by the team as an experienced swing tackle veteran, but has yet to contribute as he recovers from a pectoral injury.

Both Martin Ifedi and 2017 fifth-round pick Damontae Kazee out of San Diego State are dealing with ankle issues. Kazee came up a little slow in the last preseason game as he walked off the field. Ifedi has yet to suit up in a preseason game this summer. Wreh-Wilson is missing the game due to a hamstring injury.
