The Atlanta Falcons return home to finish out the final two legs of the 2017 preseason. Here are some things to look for in the all-important third exhibition game.

The Atlanta Falcons are half way through their exhibition slate, which means we are that much closer to meaningful Falcons football. Oh, what a feeling that is!

So far, through two preseason games, we’ve received some answers to our initial questions.

C.J. Goodwin, Deji Olatoye, and Blidi Wreh-Wilson appear to be the front runners to back up the first three cornerbacks on the depth chart. That is more than can be said about the offensive tackle depth on display versus the Dolphins and Steelers. Hence, the reason the Falcons signed tackle Austin Pasztor this past weekend.

It remains to be seen whether Pasztor is the answer at swing tackle as the former Brown is currently rehabbing his way back from a pectoral issue and has already been ruled out for this Saturday’s game. Hopefully, we get a chance to see him ease our offensive line concerns in the preseason finale.

As for the remaining offensive line question marks, the battle at right guard has come down to the wire. Head coach Dan Quinn stated that he plans to make a decision at week’s end as to who will start in the all-important third preseason game.

Given that the third one often serves as the dress rehearsal to the regular season, this may be the last opportunity of the summer to evaluate most of the core contributors on the roster.

With that said, here are five things to keep an eye on in Saturday’s game.
