Few bigger moments come to mind when looking back at Roddy White’s remarkable career than his dominating performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010.

White finished the game with an astounding 11 receptions for 201 yards and two touchdowns. These are numbers that you put up in Madden, not in an actual NFL game.

What makes this performance even more remarkable is the fact that all-time great Terrell Owens and pro bowler Chad Johnson were completely overshadowed by White’s dominating performance. Both guys caught a touchdown pass during the game, but nobody talked about them because White was a one-man wrecking crew.

Carson Palmer finished with 412 yards passing and three touchdowns that day, helping to get the Bengals back in the game after getting down early, 24-3. Nobody talked about his performance either. It was all about White.

The Bengals defensive backs had no answer all game. With two men on him, White refused to be denied, catching a 43-yard touchdown pass from Ryan.

White definitely proved that he was one of the best receivers in the league by outclassing both guys on the football field that day.

This was one of those many times where Johnson should’ve kept his mouth shut and just played the game. The last thing any defense wants to see is pissed off Roddy White.
