Starting slow has become a trend within this organization for the last three years.

Slow starts to 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons have doomed the Atlanta Falcons the last three years; the team started 1-4, 1-7, and 0-5 respectively.

To put it bluntly, these are terrible starts that all but doomed any hope of reaching the playoffs. In 2018 and 2019, the team finished 7-9 after reeling off a number of wins towards the end of each season. This is happening again in 2020.

After starting 0-5, the team has won three out of its last four games in a rather impressive fashion. This has to stop. The Atlanta Falcons have to find a way to start out fast and keep that momentum going.

Obviously, you won’t win every game, but the team has to find a way to start fast and avoid losing all of, or the majority of the games at the beginning of the schedule.

Now that Dan Quinn is gone, hopefully, the slow starts to the season will be gone, and the team will start the season like they have finished the previous two seasons. The 2020 season is lost because of a slow start to the season, but let’s all hope that 2021 will be a different story.
