Rounds 6-7

  • Round 6, Pick No. 185: Divine Deablo, S (Virginia Tech)

We took one ACC safety earlier and we’re finding a jewel on the backend of the draft with another one. Divine Deablo was the top playmaker on the Virginia Tech defense last year and likely will move up draft boards rather quickly.

  • Round 6, Pick No. 214: Cornell Powell, WR (Clemson)

Cornell Powell had a crazy senior year. After being surpassed on the depth chart through the early portion of his Clemson career, he made a resurgence and was one of the Tigers’ leading receivers this season and he looked good in the process.

  • Round 6, Pick No. 216: Mustafa Johnson, IDL (Colorado)

A little depth and promising project piece for the Falcons in the sixth-round on the interior defensive line.

  • Round 7, Pick No. 228: Pro Wells, TE (TCU)

There’s a lot of ways you can go in the seventh-round, but we went tight end because Pro Well has proven that can block and catch the ball out of the backfield. Give him a chance and he just might become a valuable depth piece for you.
