QB Cam Newton

Cam Newton has to finish his career out somewhere, right?

Newton is by no means a starter-level quarterback in the league anymore- though he was the NFL MVP just six years ago- but that doesn’t mean he can’t still add value.

Newton has seen the NFC South defenses time-and-time again and could come in to provide depth behind Matt Ryan as he looks to finish out his career.

The Falcons need a veteran backup quarterback to be a voice in the positional room and Newton might be that guy. Even if Atlanta brought in a rookie QB, there’s no doubt they’d benefit from having a year of learning behind Ryan and alongside Newton.
