1. RB Travis Etienne (Clemson)

Travis Etienne is now up to 215 pounds and just ran a 4.0 40-yard dash at Clemson’s Pro Day earlier this week.

Some think Etienne could be the first running back taken off the board, but most believe he’ll be No. 2 behind Alabama’s Najee Harris. The chances that two running backs are taken in the first-round are rather slim, so this seems as if it could be a very likely pairing for the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons need a running back who can do multiple things- ie. run the ball, pass-block, catch the ball out of the backfield. Etienne is one of the most explosive playmakers in this draft.

If he is available when the Falcons come back on the clock in Round 2, we expect that Atlanta will pull the trigger and it would be an absolute steal in terms of what they’d be getting in the second-round.
