Todd Gurley

Many Atlanta Falcons fans will eyeroll and completely dismiss the idea of bringing Todd Gurley back for another season.

After all, he is coming off the worst season of his career where he only rushed for 678 yards and 3.5 yards per carry. In addition, one can see the decline in Gurley’s game by just watching him during those two All-Pro seasons back in Los Angeles compared to his final season with the Rams and his one season with the Falcons.

That being said, are you not at least a little intrigued in seeing what the Falcons could get out of Gurley with- again- Arthur Smith at the helm on what might be a low contract?

Gurley has expressed his desires to stay in Atlanta and he might very well be willing to accept less money to stay with the franchise for another season.

Combining Gurley and Davis together in the backfield with a potential draft pick in the mid-rounds like Trey Sermon (Ohio State) or Kenneth Gainwell (Memphis) could be the answer to the Falcons’ rushing woes from a season ago.
