3) Week 10: at Dallas Cowboys

This may be a surprising one for Falcons fans but when you consider the players Atlanta must cover, it quickly becomes a bad matchup.

Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup if he is back, Dalton Schultz, Ezekiel Elliot, and Tony Pollard against the Falcons defense. Yikes!

A.J. Terrell will take the top receiver, whether Dean Pees considers that to be Cooper or Lamb, but then the matchups are ugly. Fabian Moreau against whoever Terrell does not take, Isaiah Oliver against whoever Dallas puts in the slot. It is an ugly scenario for the defense.

Kellen Moore also does a great job at using his different running backs in the passing game. Tony Pollard has been special so far this season, Elliot has not been as great in the past year but is still a threat.

Not to mention, this offense still has great players up front with Zach Martin, Tyron Smith, and Connor Williams. Those guys can easily dominate the Falcons deficient defensive line – outside of Grady Jarrett and every once in a while Dante Fowler Jr.

If the Falcons are able to pull out a win in Dallas it will be stunning. Dallas might not have the overall team to make a postseason run, but they have the players to blow out the Falcons.
