The Atlanta Falcons finally finished a game, albeit against the New York Jets. The credibility of the win is helped by the fact the Jets did just have an upset win over the Titans. Though the Titans were also without their top two receivers in A.J. Brown and Julio Jones.

For Atlanta, it is a huge momentum builder to win heading into their bye week. There was a myriad of contributors in this week’s win, before we rank the top three there are two honorable mentions we should make note of.

Mike Davis had his best game as a Falcon, while this isn’t saying much Davis scored the game-winning touchdown and ran with a ferocity he lacked last week against Washington. He averaged 4.1-yards-per-carry finishing with 53-yards rushing and the game winner.

Mike Davis bought himself another chance to prove he is the Atlanta Falcons starting running back

Davis wasn’t the only surprise contributor for Atlanta, Tajae Sharpe stepped up finishing the game with 53-receiving yards making two key catches to help keep Atlanta drives going. Catching four balls in all Sharpe is on his way to earning the third receiver job behind Gage and Ridley.

Sharpe and Christian Blake both stepped up on Sunday and outplayed Olamide Zaccheaus the top remaining Atlanta receiver.  Now on to Sunday’s true MVPs in week five
