Falcons guard, Chris Lindstrom, has been one of the best in the entire NFL

There is no way around it, Atlanta Falcons right guard, Chris Lindstrom deserves a Pro Bowl nod already, even though it is still early in the season—that is how special he has been.

For being on an offensive line that basically cannot stop anyone, the fact that Lindstrom has been able to bear down and hold his assignments up is simply special. The offensive line requires a lot of continuity to succeed, even on individual levels, Lindstrom should not be able to play as elite as he has been able to when he has Kaleb McGary and Matt Hennessy on either side.

Since offensive linemen are hard to judge, let’s look at where Pro Football Focus has him graded.

He currently sits with an 83.3 overall grade which ranks sixth out of all 73 qualifying players at the guard position. This is not just right guard, it is right and left guard.

He has excelled in run blocking with an 84.4 grade.

Not only does he have a high grade, but he has also been the most consistent offensive player Atlanta has. He is the only offensive player to receive a top-five grade in each week when it comes to the Falcons offense as a whole, not even Matt Ryan or Kyle Pitts can say that.

If Chris Lindstrom continues this high level of play, he should be a lock for the Pro Bowl—should be—that does not mean he will be in it, as he probably will not make it since it is all a popularity contest.
