The matchup that Deion Jones will have will be key to the defense’s success

The Falcons defense held up their side of the bargain against the Patriots, they were the sole reason that Atlanta had a chance throughout the game until the offense unraveled late.

If the defense can keep the momentum, you like your chances for the Falcons to leave Florida with a win. However, a big matchup for the Jaguars’ offense against the Falcons defense is Deion Jones defending James Robinson.

James Robinson is the best player the Jaguars have had on offense this season, besides Trevor Lawrence who receives too much blame for their struggles.

Robinson was a revelation last season and continues to play extremely well, it will be key for Debo to shut him down. Certainly, if there is any linebacker in the NFL that can keep up with any running back, it is Deion Jones, so that bodes well for Atlanta.

With that being said, it has not been a clean season for Deion Jones. There has been questionable effort at times and he has missed on key plays, but he has also had some superb games, hopefully, the latter will be true this week.

If Deion Jones holds up his end of the bargain, the defense should have a much better shot at dominating.
