1. Seattle Seahawks

This initial choice is going to surprise a lot of folks but bear with the reasoning for a moment if you would. If you’re Matt Ryan why would you leave the NFC for a much stronger AFC that seemingly every star player is gravitating towards?

Staying in the NFC leaves you a much clearer path to contention and Seattle has a veteran coach who is a proven winner. Many people forget when Seattle had its best seasons it wasn’t with the Russell Wilson of the last half-decade. Wilson was a young player and it was a running game, a great defense, and creative coaching that put Seattle back into relevance.

If you’re Ryan going to Seattle gives you a starting job and DK Metcalf, Noah Fant, and Tyler Lockett and the offensive line simply put cannot be any worse. Ryan would have a chance to haunt the Falcons and compete in the weaker conference. The one downside to this move is the fact you would be competing with the Rams.

On the flip side, however, if Ryan were to go to the AFC look at the potential matchups he would be facing on a weekly basis. Ryan is still a good quarterback but facing Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Deshaun Watson, Justin Herbert, Josh Allen, and Russell Wilson would be a new type of challenge for a quarterback who has often been outgunned.
