2. Indianapolis Colts

If Ryan does decide to make the jump to the AFC the fit is obvious and has already been pointed out by many a Twitter analyst. The Colts have a great running attack and solid receivers and one of the best offensive lines in football. If Carson Wentz had been able to have even a marginal game against the Jaguars this team is a playoff team. They have been a quarterback short of being a contender for what feels to be the last half-decade.

Ryan is the first true answer the franchise would have since Andrew Luck’s surprise retirement. It doesn’t hurt the Colts either that they have a solid defense and play in arguably the weakest division in the AFC. If Ryan wants to make the move this is the team he should choose. The Steelers seem content with Mitch Trubisky and play in a superior division.

The Colts are desperate for a quarterback and would wrap their arms around Matt Ryan in a heartbeat. With the Colts Ryan is going to face the least amount of pressure he has in his entire career. The formula is very simple come in and don’t turn the ball over, lean on the running game, and make one or two plays a game something Matt Ryan is more than capable of.
