Kaleb McGary – Right Tackle

You probably knew that Kaleb McGary’s name would be somewhere on this list and you thought that for good reason as the Falcons’ starting right tackle over the past few years has been one of the biggest issues for the Falcons offense.

In 2019 the Atlanta Falcons jumped back into the first round and drafted Kaleb McGary to be their franchise right tackle. To say he has not lived up to the expectations is probably an understatement as he has been among the worst starters in the league.

Going into the past couple of seasons everyone has been hoping that it would finally be the year where Kaleb would make the leap to being at the very least a serviceable starter, that has yet to happen and this year will likely be his last chance to prove to the Falcons that he was worth the first-round pick.

Atlanta has already declined his fifth-year option which means he will be a free agent following this year. It does not take an expert to realize that McGary will have to make a huge jump to get another contract from this team.

In all likelihood, this will be McGary’s final season in Atlanta, unless he can find a way to improve his pass protection dramatically.
