Jimmy Graham – TE

Yes, you read that correctly, the Falcons should look at signing a player that fans did not exactly appreciate for much of his career.

Jimmy Graham was a menace for the Atlanta defense when he played with the New Orleans Saints, and while he is nowhere near the same type of player, he could give them some extra production behind superstar Kyle Pitts.

Sure, Graham has not broken 500 receiving yards in three straight seasons, but he is still a large human being that can pluck the ball out of the air. Just two seasons ago with the Bears, he was able to grab eight touchdowns. In 2020, about every six catches he had were for a touchdown.

You may lose speed as you age but you do not lose your six-foot-seven, 265-pound frame. Pair that with a six-foot-six Kyle Pitts and you have an absolutely deadly one-two punch inside the red zone.

It would just come down to Arthur Smith using Jimmy Graham in the right way, his 1,000-yard receiving seasons are well behind him but his ability to grab the football over defenders is not. Not to mention, it would just add to this already large group of receivers.
