2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @Dallas Cowboys

For the second straight season, Tampa is going to open their season against the Dallas Cowboys in a matchup of two teams that annihilated the Falcons last season. The divisional interest here is obvious for the Atlanta fans hoping that Dak Prescott can pull off the upset and get Brady’s season off to a rough start.

Tampa Bay may not be a team that the Falcons want to see win this season but Julio Jones, Russell Gage, and Keanu Neal are all former Falcons fans who will be watching closely. Julio Jones wasn’t close to the same player he had been the year before with the Titans last season and was promptly cut sitting in free agency late into the off-season.

Brady still has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, however, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Julio Jones step into the role Gronk has filled over the last two seasons becoming Brady’s security blanket. As difficult as it might be to watch Brady continue to rule the division at least this season it will work to the benefit of one of the greatest Falcons in franchise history and that starts on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
