Minus the fumble—which I would argue is not something to worry about since it was just a deadly peanut punch by Marlon Humprey—Drake London showed why the Atlanta Falcons made him the eighth overall pick.

He has made plays this year but we hadn’t seen him string together a couple of ‘wow’ moments in a game, until now. That catch on the sideline where he got his elbow down was insane and then that high point near the end zone was spectacular. I think the Falcons got what they thought they were getting from the big wide receiver out of USC.

Punters usually go out there, do their job, and go unnoticed—until they don’t. Atlanta Falcons punter Bradley Pinion seemed to be affected by the cold more than anyone as he easily had his worst performance of the year.

He had his second-lowest average yards per punt of the season, he had his lowest ‘long’ punt of the season, and outside of his one punt for 73 yards in week three, he had the lowest total punt yards on the season. Also, throw in his short kickoff which caused the Falcons to lose the benefit of the two-minute warning at the end of the game—not that it mattered.
