2. Olamide Zaccheaus

Olamide Zaccheaus is another Atlanta Falcon who had a career year at the best possible time as he hits free agency in his fifth year in the league. Olamide spent the majority of the season as Atlanta’s second option behind rookie Drake London.  Olamide finished the season with 533 yards and 3 touchdowns in what was a great season with quarterback instability and in a run-first offense.

Olamide’s chemistry with Marcus Mariota didn’t translate when rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder took over with his production taking a step back. Despite this, his familiarity with the offense and the consistent pro-Olamide has been during his time in Atlanta would make it surprising if the Falcons don’t attempt to bring the receiver back.

Atlanta needs to add a second and third option at the position bringing in at least one veteran and depth behind both Drake London and Kyle Pitts. The offense needs stability behind London who seemed to be the only consistent target a year after Matt Ryan spent a season throwing to practice squad players. Atlanta has the money to address the position and bringing back Olamide is a solid step in the right direction.
