3. Elijah Wilkinson

It wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Wilkinson brought back as a starting option for the Falcons. Wilkinson was solid in the nine games he started playing the largest role he has had for a team since the Denver Broncos in the 2019 season. Wilkinson is a solid run blocker and a capable pass protector Atlanta could use on their roster.

Depth on the offensive line is something Atlanta lacks and will need to address in free agency and the draft. Wilkinson is a great depth option or could be started at left guard. Atlanta has Jake Matthews and Chris Lindstrom locked in as starters but the other three positions could be upgraded or changed this off-season.

With key free agents and clear upgrades in Atlanta’s draft range, the offensive line could be brought back exactly the same or have three new starters. Considering the success the team had running the football and early on with their starting five I would lean towards the latter with Wilkinson and McGary both returning and starting the 2023 season.
