A lot of people love linebacker Sean Weatherspoon for his bubbly personality and goofy demeanor, but, in all honesty, the majority of his time with the Falcons has been spent on injured reserve. With this newest injury added to the list, the Achilles heel, heated debates have sparked up among fans on Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media avenue you can think of.
Fans are getting tired of wondering whether or not ‘Spoon’s going to play each year. Some think he should stay on the team, some think it’s time for him to go, and others just don’t know what to think. He has only played one full season in Atlanta, and in full heath he doesn’t disappoint. But as great of a guy ‘Spoon is, it doesn’t do Atlanta any good if he is always on the sidelines. Falcons fans have made that very clear.
