Good morning, Atlanta Falcons fans. As you get up and make your morning coffee, we bring you up to date with everything going on in the world of the Falcons.

We kick off today with a first-round mock draft from Michelle Bruton of Bleacher Report. Find out here who she projects the Falcons to take with the eighth-overall pick.

Following this pick, she believes the Falcons could trade up for Melvin Gordon:

"“In this scenario, the Falcons have addressed their big need on defense for a stud pass-rusher with Vic Beasley at No. 8 overall. But the Falcons also have a hole at running back, and a weak running game will make Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White more ineffective, as well, without the ability to run a balanced offensive attack.Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith, who are at the top of the depth chart at the position, are not going to accomplish that.”"

Speaking of the draft, you can win the chance to meet the Falcons’ first-round pick. In the ‘Draft the Best Team to Tackle Everything’ sweepstakes over at AtlantaFalcons.com, you could be headed to the Falcons draft party.

"“Enter the “Draft the Best Team to Tackle Everything” sweepstakes for a chance to attend two exclusive 2015 Atlanta Falcons draft events and meet the Atlanta Falcons first round draft pick. This promotion will last from April 1 – April 18. There will be a first, second and third prize winner.”"

Last week, the Falcons lost a 2016 draft choice for pumping fake crowd noise through the speakers at home games. Steve Brenner of Sport360.com believes NFL punishments aren’t as harsh as commissioner Roger Goodell would have us believe:

"“Players are banned when it really matters – in the heart of the season. Executives? Well they can sit out large chunks of time when it wouldn’t hurt to slide into the shadows for a few weeks.”"
