4) The Atlanta Falcons are in dire need of a No. 2 WR

Nov 8, 2015; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Justin Hardy (16) is stopped short of the goal line against San Francisco 49ers strong safety Jimmie Ward (25) and inside linebacker Michael Wilhoite (57) during the fourth quarter at Levi

If you had of told me that nine weeks into the season the Falcons’ biggest weakness on offense would be a lack of wide receiver depth, I would have called you crazy. Well, that’s exactly what their weakness has been. The Falcons are in desperate need of a wide receiver to produce not named Julio Jones.

Only three wide receivers on the Falcons caught a pass vs the 49ers. Jones had 10 catches for 137 yards, Justin Hardy had four catches for 17 yards and Roddy White had one catch for 20 yards. That is not getting the job done. Atlanta has been without Leonard Hankerson for the last two games and his absence is starting to show.

Good thing for Hankerson is that he will have two weeks to rest before the Falcons take the field against the Colts on Nov. 22. The Falcons are also closer to getting Devin Hester back who went on short-term IR to start the season. His presence will be key for the Falcons in the latter half of the year.
