If you’re looking to compliment Julio Jones in the best way possible, Josh Doctson just might be that guy. The Atlanta Falcons are in desperate need of a complementary receiver to take some of the weight off of Jones’ shoulders and Doctson is more than capable of doing that.

Doctson is a late first-round, early second-round draft pick at the moment and could fall into the Falcons’ lap just like Michael Thomas could. Doctson is the No. 4 ranked receiver behind Thomas and has very good attributes as well. He came in at 6-2, 202 pounds and has a 9 7/8 hand size. All three attributes are well above the draft average and would be a solid pickup for the Falcons.

Doctson has outstanding leaping ability, body control and ball-skills but lacks in his route-running capabilities. If he’s available when the Falcons are on the clock in the second round, they will be hard pressed not to draft him if they have not solved their receiver issue via free agency.
