10 reasons why the Atlanta Falcons’ offseason is beginning to look like a failure

The Falcons lost their best motivational player on the roster in Roddy White
Without getting into much detail, cutting Roddy White was the right move but at the same time you’re losing a player who will forever hold a lasting legacy on the Falcons’ organization. White is the best receiver in the history of the team and that mean’s something.
Having a guy like that around young players speaks volumes to their progression. Julio Jones has credited White on numerous occasions as him being a big part of who he has become on the field. So not having White around anymore affects the motivational aspect of the Falcons in a big way.
There is no replacing White. You can only hope to bring in someone who can hopefully come somewhere close to what he was able to accomplish but you won’t get that motivational aspect from anyone.
