The Atlanta Falcons are looking to make a major splash during the 2021 NFL Draft

The Atlanta Falcons are just a little over four months away from beginning to shape their franchise for years to come through the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Falcons are in need of several positions, including edge-rusher, safety and cornerback. They also need a running back, could use an offensive lineman and will likely choose to try and fill out depth at wide receiver, potentially find their future franchise QB and add depth along the front-seven.

As we continue to look ahead to the NFL Draft, here’s my first crack at a full seven-round mock draft for the Atlanta Falcons, using the Mock Draft Machine as part of The Draft Network. We’re going to pick straight-up in this one and not worry about trades.

Let the Atlanta Falcons seven-round Mock Draft begin…

Penei Sewell is the best offensive tackle prospect in this class and he’s going to be taken extremely soon in the process. Taking him No. 4 overall isn’t the flashy pick, but it gives the Falcons a franchise tackle and someone who can come in right away and make a difference.

I would be surprised if Etienne is really still available right here, but if he is you have to imagine this is an absolute foregone conclusion. Look for the Falcons to try and wait it out for a running back to fall to them in the second-round and this would be a picture-perfect scenario.
