Difference: Established depth at WR for Atlanta, none for Philadelphia.

If you are an Atlanta Falcons fan or a fan of any team, it does not matter, everyone knows the Eagles past struggles at wide receiver. They have been downright abysmal at the position for a few years now and have been referred to as the team with “practice squad receivers.”

As formerly mentioned, they have a promising player in DeVonta Smith but he has proven nothing so far, which is the theme for the rest of the receivers. Greg Ward is probably their most established threat at the position and lots of fans probably do not know who he is.

Jalen Reagor and DeVonte Smith are two former first-round picks, but Reagor was a non-factor in his first season with injuries and we have yet to see Smith outside of the preseason.

For Atlanta – while they may have lost Julio Jones – they still have Calvin Ridley who is primed for an incredible year, Russell Gage who stepped up big time when Julio went down last season, and even Olamide Zaccheaus who has shown lots of juice.

It is virtual opposites for the two teams that will match up against each other.
