Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are no doubt a much more plausible trading partner for the Atlanta Falcons, even if they are currently a mess.

The biggest question with this team is if they would rather trade for an established quarterback or draft a quarterback with their probable high draft pick in the upcoming draft. Chances are it is the latter, especially when you factor in that the team will probably end up with a good amount of draft picks if the Deshaun Watson trade ever happens.

That brings up another scenario, could Atlanta possibly pull off a Deshaun Watson for Matt Ryan trade?

It would likely take more than just Matt Ryan for the Texans to pull the trigger, but Watson is the type of player that you can mortgage your future on—he is a ridiculously good player—it all hinges on his legal issues though.

If this were to happen it would be along the lines of the Matthew Stafford for Jared Goff trade, but on a much bigger scale.

This is the most intriguing trade partner for the Falcons, Deshaun Watson grew up in Atlanta and could really change the course of the franchise for a long time.
