2. Ryan deserves another shot at winning a ring

The one thing that Matt Ryan’s resume lacks is a Super Bowl win, something the veteran is unlikely to find in Atlanta. In a “count the rings” age it seems likely Matt Ryan needs a change of scenery to have a shot at winning it all. Ryan with the Steelers, Browns, or Colts would have a shot at winning a Super Bowl with rosters willing and capable of supporting him.

Support the Atlanta Falcons should be focused on giving him instead of putting their energy into flirting with a Deshaun Watson trade. Matt Ryan deserves to be in the Hall of Fame if he retired today. However, if you’re Ryan you likely need a ring to get in a bit easier. Going the Matthew Stafford route and leaving a dysfunctional team for one that can win a Super Bowl and change his legacy.

Ryan helped a team in Atlanta that has been a historically losing organization find the playoffs consistently. Now that he isn’t being given the support he needs it is time to leave Atlanta and chase a ring. Winning a ring with Atlanta seems off the table considering how little talent is on the roster and the fact they are puzzlingly uncommitted to Ryan.
