S. Tigers . Smoke Monday. 151. player. 842.

Despite bringing in veteran help at the position Atlanta needs to add depth at the safety position. Kyle Hamilton would be a splashy addition but there is doubt he will still be on the board when the Falcons select 8th overall. There is also concern that drafting safety inside the top ten could be a potential mistake. A year after drafting Kyle Pitts 4th overall it would be surprising to see Atlanta take the risk of selecting a safety in the first round.

Leaving the Falcons searching a mid-to-late round impact addition. Smoke Monday fits that description perfectly and would be a great addition to the Atlanta Falcons defense. The fans would love his hard-hitting play-making style, a style that would make him a rare impact player drafted in the later rounds.

Monday does have some concerns but none that should have him drafted as low as this. He is being severely underrated headed into this draft and will be a great selection for whoever is lucky enough to land the safety.  Smoke Monday would join A.J. Terrell, Casey Hayward, and Erik Harris in the Atlanta secondary and give the team a chance to show drastic improvement with that particular position group.
