Fred Warner – Linebacker

The ground game must get going for the Atlanta Falcons to beat the San Francisco 49ers. So, conversely, Fred Warner becomes a key player for the 49ers.

When a Pro Bowl player knows that he is the key to success, then that will certainly motivate them even more. The Falcons should be worried about Warner because the dude can simply play football.

He is a fast and physical linebacker, what more would a team want? The offense for the Falcons must put a spotlight on him on each play or else their running game will never get going. Those second-level blockers have to get on their hands on him to prevent him from blowing up our running backs.

The other side of the story is that the Falcons’ opponents have been blitzing linebackers to get to Marcus Mariota, so you know that the Niners’ defense will use that to their advantage by sending Warner up the middle.

Tyler Allgeier will likely have to go one-on-one blocking Warner which also brings a BYU-on-BYU matchup in the passing game. The two will want to get bragging rights over one another.

It should be interesting to see the two go head-to-head in both the run and pass game.
