Bryan Edwards – Wide Receiver

Once a trade asset, always a trade asset. The Atlanta Falcons traded a fifth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders back in May for a seventh-round pick and former third-round pick Bryan Edwards, but that move has seemed like a total waste so far.

So far this year, Bryan Edwards has two catches for 12 yards and that is it. Honestly, not too surprising considering that Drake London and Kyle Pitts don’t even get any opportunities to catch passes.

Anyways, Edwards is a talented receiver who flashed playmaking ability with the Raiders over the past couple of seasons but things have just not gone his way in Atlanta as he hardly even sees the field even when he is active on game day.

If you are the Falcons why wouldn’t you explore trading him to at least get something in return even if it is just a seventh-round pick? There is no doubt he can be of value to another team and it is clear that he isn’t going to get constant targets with the Falcons.

Possibly a team like the Packers could use him as they have been rumored to be looking for wide receiver help.
