Depending on how the draft falls it isn’t at all out of the question the Falcons take a pass catcher in the first round for a third straight year. The team lost Calvin Ridley and may lose Olamide Zaccheaus this off-season. Atlanta badly needs depth at receiver and add weapons that Desmond Ridder can count on.

For this move to happen the top pass rushers are going to have to be off the board and Atlanta will be using the best player available approach. Johnston fits perfectly with Arthur Smith’s typical receiver at 6’4 Johnston could become a consistent deep threat with surprising speed for an athlete of his size. Quentin is an elite prospect that would perfectly fit the Atlanta offense and complete the Atlanta offense.

The upside of this move is having Pitts, London, Allgeier, and Johnston all on their rookie deals for two more seasons. Allowing Ridder the best chance to succeed while still giving Atlanta another affordable year of offensive weapons if they have to pivot away from Desmond.

Johnston finished his junior year with 1,069 yards and 6 touchdowns in an offense that helped push TCU to the championship game in 2022.
