The Atlanta Falcons have been searching for wide receiver depth all offseason long, and they may have found the perfect option. And I'm not referring to an option on the current 90-man roster like Vinny Anthony II or Chris Blair, this is an external option that just became available for the Falcons.
The Cleveland Browns just released veteran wideout Cedric Tillman, and thanks to the Kevin Stefanski connection, Atlanta is looking like a prime destination for his services. After all, enough quote-unquote Stefanski guys have signed with the Falcons in his short time as their head coach.

The 26-year-old was selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but when the Browns spent two top-40 draft picks on WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, it became clear that the writing was on the wall for him: but his former head coach could offer him a scenery change.
The Atlanta Falcons could look to sign ex-Browns WR Cedric Tillman
The Dirty Birds' receiver room is better than it was a season ago, but it still isn't great. The top four of Drake London, Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheus, and Zachariah Branch are set in stone, but those final two depth spots are up in the air--which could open the door for a Tillman-Stefanski reunion.
Before he was released, the fourth-year receiver was floated as a possible trade candidate, where the Falcons were once again floated as a possible destination. But now that this front office won't have to give up any draft capital to bring in a quality depth pass-catcher, there's much more incentive to call.
Atlanta badly needs to add another big body to their receiver room, and Cedric Tillman fits the bill of the sort of competitor Stefanski should be looking for. At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, he's another receiver who can play on the outside alongside London and Dotson--and would be particularly helpful in drawing attention away from the other weapons in this offense, especially in the red zone.
A guy who has made 19 career starts and logged roughly 800 yards in three seasons isn't going to set the world on fire, but is solid depth-- even if the injury bug has hit the Tennessee product in recent years. And since he's entering the final year of his rookie deal, 2026 could offer him the redemption arc he's in desperate need of.
The issue here is that with roster cuts right around the corner, it would behoove the Falcons to wait until after the deadline to sign him in order to keep their options open. But once the dust settles, it wouldn't be surprising in the slightest to see Stefanski urge Atlanta's front office to kick the tires here.
Cedric Tillman is far from the most accomplished player, but beggars can't be choosers this time of year. Things are about to get chaotic, but the idea of the Atlanta Falcons signing to be the WR5 or WR6 in the receiver room is intriguing--and I'm sure it's certainly crossed Kevin Stefanski's mind.
