2. Eddie Goldman, DT, Atlanta Falcons

Eddie Goldman made a surprising return to the NFL last week. The Atlanta Falcons activated him off of the retired list last week after his retirement last year following his signing with Atlanta.

Goldman being expendable could depend on Calais Campbell. If Campbell ends up choosing the Falcons then the Falcons might end up moving on from Goldman. They would already have Grady Jarrett, Ta'Quon Graham, and David Onyemata—would there be enough snaps for the unretired DT?

There is also the possibility that Jalen Carter falls to them in the draft and they pounce on the opportunity if that happens, Goldman is the expendable piece but the Falcons, obviously, would only land a 2024 pick.

They wouldn't be likely to land anything more than a seventh-round pick, and even at that, it could be a trade that involves both teams trading their seventh-round picks, with the Falcons landing the higher selection.
