Atlanta Falcons vs Cowboys: Week 10 staff predictions

Game: Dallas Cowboys (5-3) at Atlanta Falcons (4-4)
Breakdown: Don’t get too excited about Ezekiel Elliott getting suspended before this game. Behind that offensive line I think *I* might be able to gain positive yardage in the NFL. Also, they still have Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant (though a possibly hobbled Bryant), and Jason Witten. The Cowboy defense has gotten better, too. After giving up 35 points two weeks in a row against the Rams and then the Packers, they’ve given up an average of just over 15 points per game since.

While they look middle of the pack against in terms of points allowed per game and yards allowed per game, and they have allowed opposing QBs a 14-4 TD-Int ration, Dallas has also racked up 27 sacks, third-best in the league. With the Falcon offense still struggling to find its identity, the sledding could be very tough on Sunday.
Coming home after a rough road trip might just what the Falcons need. There’s no question the talent is there. If anything, on paper, the 2017 Falcons are more talented than the team that went to Super Bowl 51. The question is whether or not the coaching staff can properly utilize that talent and put it in the best position to succeed. Unfortunately, against a Cowboy squad that seems to be peaking, I don’t think it’s going to happen this Sunday
Prediction: Dallas 23, Atlanta 21
