Well here we are folks week 4 is behind us and the Atlanta Falcons are looking at a decent 2-2 record. The Birds have won both games at home (important) and lost both games on the road (god awful). I think it is a bit funny looking at the NFL website right now at other teams records and I have to admit it makes me smile looking at Cleveland and Arizona and the Eagles.
Cleveland was supposed to be this great offensive juggernaut with Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards. The Browns have looked more like the stuff you scrape off of [...]

Falcons lose 24-9 to Panthers
Charlotte N.C.- The Falcons came into the their week 4 match-up owners of a 2-1 record and they will be leaving today 2-2.
First off I will give a lot of respect to the Panthers, they played a great game and really disrupted everything we did. Matt Ryan was forced to throw the ball 41 times! Michael Turner found no room to run and did not score. Jerious Norwood was rendered useless as well. Carolina managed 2 sacks and I saw a strong offensive line in pass protection, Ryan was pressured but not terribly and for that I see something to [...]
The Atlanta Falcons travel to North Carolina to face a Panthers team that appears to be in the best shape we have seen in the last few years. Steve Smith is back from his suspension, Jake Delhomme is throwing the ball well and the Pathers defense appears to look stout. Rated 19th againsst the run the Falcons have a decent team to play against and so far the general concensus is not looking good for the Birds.
Atlanta is not to be underestimated though as we feature the number one runnin back in the NFL through 3 weeks at 366 rushing [...]
Paul Newman 1925-2008
I try to keep on point with just football stuff usually but Paul Newman was just too good an actor not to say something. I remember the first movie I saw of his was Harry & Son and then a few yearss later, The Color of Money with Tom Cruise. Newman was so cool in that part as “Fast ” Eddie Felson and I really started to understand why both of my parents loved the guy so much.
I grew up as an only child to two really huge film fanatic parents and always at the top of the Mt. Rushmore of actors [...]
Come on over and check out my first ever appearance on the Carolina Panthers podcast. I want to extend a warm thank you to John White for a great experience and I hope to be on future podcasts as well. Atlanta is going to win in Carolina and although Mr. White sounds says otherwise I say we win 24-13. Oh, I wanted to share a little bit of positivity here for any Carolina fans that may be reading this. I finally found someone I don’t mind wearing that awful electric blue crap….. WOW!
The Bird Speaks!
So here we are week 3 is in the rear view and the team that some predicted winning 2 games all season have met that goal already. I knew we were a better team than the pundits made us out to be and I think that what he have done is what made sense. We beat two teams that we should have beaten and we lost to a superior team in Tampa Bay.
Carolina is up next and with this game, (our second divisional game of the season) we will really see what this team is made of. So I am [...]
Falcons 2-1 in win over Chiefs
Atlanta, Ga.
Michael Turner turned in another beautiful game scoring 3 times and running for 104 yards. While Jerious Norwood had 105 total yards (75 rushing) and looked impressive on spelling and acting as a change of pace to the man they call “The Burner”.
Kansas City played a decent game though, as their QB Tyler Thigpin overcame a pretty bad start to the game to score a really nice touchdown just before halftime.
Matt Ryan looked impressive on a 70 yard bomb to Roddy White and showed why he was the 3rd overall pick in this years draft. It really does [...]
Chiefs(0-2) Vs. Falcons (1-1)
Kansas City comes to the dome this week and with them a weak secondary and a pretty weak offense. Needless to say I am excited as hell!
I say this game is overrun by, what else but the run.
Michael Turner is the featured player in the Falcons offense and he appears to be in for a great day. Kansas City ranks in the bottom of the league in run defense and also against the pass. Matt Ryan appears to be in a good position to be able to bouce back from a rough Buccanneers pass D.
I like the chance for the Falcons [...]
Milloy you F’ed up bud
Do the Falcons really deserve this?
Lawyer Milloy gets arrested for DUI and here we go again. Atlanta just cannot catch a break at all lately. Now I am lucky to say that we aren’t the Bengalsand I am happy for that ewwwww! But seriously why can’t these guys keep their noses clean?
I understand the thought of wanting to go out and have some fun. I have made some nice money at my job and it feels good to go out and have a nice time, have a few drinks with a few frineds etc. I have never made anything close [...]
Falcons lose to Bucs
OK, I put myself out there. I said the birds were going to win. I said they would be well prepared and that Griese was going to blow goats better than he would play against the Falcons. Well, I was wrong on both counts Griese beat my boys and as far as I can see he never fellated a goat….. that I can prove.
So here is the thing. I don’t think the Falcons played poorly as much as I think they just played a better team. I won’t say theBucs are destined to hoist the Lombardi trophy anytime soon (they [...]
